Mary emerging as top receiving threat for unbeaten Delran

DELRAN — Senior JJ Mary of Delran has emerged as one of the top early-season receiving threats in South Jersey. What’s going to happen when he gets more experience at the position?

This is only Mary’s second season as a receiver. He began his football career at Riverside, where for two seasons, he was a running back. When he came to Delran he received on the job training at receiver.

Now he has taken his game up another level. That was evident during Delran’s 31-0 win over Northern Burlington in a West Jersey Football League Independence Division game.
