Escape to the Country made its return on this week with presenter Briony May Williams assisting a family of six in their quest to relocate to North Yorkshire. During the most recent episode, audiences were introduced to couple Alex and Abi, who have four children and were in urgent need of a property offering greater space.

The family was currently residing in a four-bedroom house in Alton, Hampshire, but were seeking a detached period property featuring five bedrooms, a study, an expansive kitchen and a substantial garden within their £800,000 budget.
