TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- It's been four years since 50-year-old Rick Harris was shot and killed at the convenience store he was working at in Goshen.
"Four years and we are not gonna give up, his family, friends and myself included, we're not gonna give up. We're gonna continue to fight this. It may have gotten a little cold, unfortunately, but I believe... I still believe in my heart of hearts," says Rick's childhood friend, Katrina King.
Risk was covering a shift as a store clerk on September 19, 2021, when two men with masks walked into the gas station demanding all the money in the cash register.
The Tulare County Sheriff's Office says Rick complied, then the men shot him.
Rick called 9-1-1, but died at the scene.
"It was his birthday and someone called out and he went in
