Owen Daley scored on a 1-yard touchdown run as time expired to lift the Heritage Timberwolves to a come-from-behind 20-14 victory River Ridge on Friday at McKenzie Stadium.

Trailing 14-0 at halftime, Braden Oster got Heritage on the board with a 52-yard fumble return early in the third quarter.

Isaiah James had a 7-yard touchdown later in the third to tie the game 14-14.

After River Ridge missed on a 46-yard field attempt with 9:30 left in the game, Heritage went on 17-play, 80-yard drive that used up the rest of the game clock.

KJ Clark had a big four-yard run on fourth-and-three at the Timberwolves’ 49 to extend the drive.

The big play was a 37-yard completion from Davonne Granville to Treylon McGraw that got Heritage to the River Ridge 7-yard line.
