The Bernards football team left the field a week ago against Cranford winners of 28 straight regular season games - but the program still suffered a major loss.

Standout defensive lineman Thomas Diemar, the school’s all-time sack leader, went down with a non-contact knee injury, which put his status for this week’s game in jeopardy.
