EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Former Atlantic City Beach Patrol member and longtime community volunteer Frank Finnerty was honored recently for his lifetime of community service at an event at McCullough's Emerald Golf Links.
Family and friends celebrated Finnerty's record of service during the annual "Halfway to St. Patty’s Day" golf outing Tuesday.
Atlantic City Beach Patrol Chief Steve Downey oversaw a boat dedication in Finnerty's honor as part of the event. The honor included a city surf boat painted Kelly green with a white shamrock on the stern, along with the words "Captain Frank Finnerty" in bold black letters.
