BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Our last weekend of summer will likely be one of our coldest. Low temps this morning were quite cold, from the upper 20s in Clayton Lake to low 40s in both Bar Harbor and Rockland.
After a cold morning, high temps will warm up, with highs from the upper 50s to upper 60s. Skies will be sunny all day long. Winds will be sustained out of the NW at 5-15 mph with gusts reaching 25 mph. The breezy conditions combined with very dry dewpoints in the 20s and 30s, means fire danger risks will remain high to very high.
Tonight, low temps will be very cold once again. Lows will vary from the upper 20s in Northern Maine to the mid 40s along the Midcoast. Skies will remain clear with calm winds and dry dewpoints. Freeze Warnings have been issued for Northern Maine and the Wester
