BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - This morning, low temperatures got very cold, all the way down into the upper 20s for many spots in Northern Maine. Many interior and even coastal communities reached down throughout the 30s.

Skies will be sunny this morning and midday, helping temperatures to quickly climb. A few clouds will enter from the SW to NE in the afternoon/evening hours. Highs will vary from the low 60s to low 70s. Fire Danger risks remain high. East winds will transition to SSW winds with gusts up to 20 mph with dry dewpoints.

Tonight, low temps won’t be anywhere near as cold as they have been the last two nights. Lows will vary from the upper 30s to upper 40s. Skies will be partly to mostly clear with SSW gusts reaching 15 mph. Patchy AM fog is possible.
