Auburn football is preparing to travel to Norman, Oklahoma for its SEC opener against the Sooners this weekend.

After being ranked No. 22 in this week’s AP Top 25 poll, the Tigers enter this game having won 13 of their last 16 SEC openers on the road.

Rayshawn Pleasant getting reps at cornerback

Auburn return specialist Rayshawn Pleasant is expected to get some reps at cornerback at Oklahoma, according to Auburn coach Hugh Freeze Thursday afternoon.

Starting corner Jay Crawford was listed as doubtful in Friday’s availability report. Crawford has been nursing a knee injury and was limited in practice this week. Freeze says (Crawford) will dress out and play a limited number of snaps.
