Something about the description of the Breakfast Molcajete told me it was meant for more than one person. I ordered it anyway.

Maybe it was the description on La Delicia’s menu: “Steak, chorizo, bacon, sausage, queso fresco, roasted potatoes, and a sunny-side-up egg in a stone bowl. With house salsa, chiles toreados, avocado, pickled onions, cilantro, tortillas, rice, and beans.” Maybe it was the $27 price tag. Maybe it was my waiter saying it easily could feed a party of three. I ordered it anyway.

“I just want to see it,” I said.
