BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Patricia Cobb, an elderly resident at Princeton Towers Apartment Homes, said units on her floor have gone nearly one week without air conditioning.
Cobb said the air conditioning in the hallway of her apartment floor appears to blow some air but said inside her unit, the temperature has reached nearly 80 degrees. That's a concern for her health, as she depends on an oxygen machine 24 hours a day.
"I've been having a hard time breathing, and the heat isn't making it no better, so I need the air," Cobb said. "Last weekend, I didn't have any air.
