Garden Avenue Greenhouse employees roast Hatch chilis during the inaugural Pepper Festival at Garden Avenue Greenhouse on Saturday morning. Hot, medium, and mild Hatch Chilis and Jalapenos sold roasted or unroasted were for sale at the event. Roasted samples were also available. Hatch peppers are a distinct type of chili grown in the Hatch Valley in New Mexico.
