BUFFALO, N.Y. — One of Buffalo’s most flavorful food competitions returned today as the Meatball Street Brawl took over a section of West Mohawk Street, drawing crowds eager to sample and judge the city’s best meatballs.

Eleven local restaurants competed for the title of Buffalo’s best meatballs, with winners selected in both traditional and freestyle categories.

In addition to the main competition, the festival featured a celebrity cook-off, local breweries, and live music from local band Grosh and national recording artist Jackson Stokes. Fans and foodies enjoyed tasting, cheering, and voting for their favorites throughout the day.

Proceeds from the event will go to several local charities, highlighting the community-focused aspect of the festival alongside its culinary excitement.
