BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A Taiwanese delegation announced from the US Capitol that Taiwan will buy $10 billion in U.S. produce. This deal includes soybeans, corn, wheat, and beef.

North Dakota congresswoman Julie Fedorchak was among those in attendance for the Taiwan-U.S. Agricultural Trade Goodwill Mission at the U.S. Capitol. "Taiwan’s commitment is a big win for our soybean, corn, and wheat growers as well as beef producers,” Congresswoman Fedorchak said in a press release obtained by KX News.

Fedorchak was particularly keen to highlight North Dakota soybean producers. The deal is significant for North Dakota farmers who in 2024 produced $2.3 billion in Soybeans, $2.2 billion in corn, and more than $4 billion in wheat.
