ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The annual Great Forest Park Balloon Race was cancelled on Saturday due to the weather.

On a Facebook post, the organizers announced the event had been cancelled due to ongoing inclement weather and extremely wet field conditions.

The two-day event was going to have an air balloon race set to start at 4:30 p.m.
