MIDLAND CITY, Ala. (WDHN)-- Dispatch received a call around 4 a.m. Saturday morning about a a 37 year old woman found unresponsive, not breathing and cold to the touch.

Midland City Police, ECHO Rescue, and Dale County Sheriff Deputies all responded to the 4100 block of East Highway 134 in Midland City.

Dale County Coroner John Cawley says the woman was found by her boyfriend and was already deceased upon their arrival.

Coroner Cawley also says the woman was in a crash on Thursday when she was struck by a car while driving an electric scooter on County Road 59 in Midland City.

At this time it is unknown if she died from her injuries from the crash. District Attorney Kirke Adams has sent her body for an autopsy.
