FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WBOY) — The End of Summer Bash took place in Fairmont on Saturday, welcoming the community, vendors and music artists out to celebrate their community.

The event was the end of a five event summer series in Fairmont. Organizer Alex Petri highlighted the importance of events like these to the community.

"The goal isn't just to bring people to our event, it is to get people to come to downtown Fairmont," Petri said. "Come to our event, visit our vendors and our food trucks and catch our entertainment, but also to walk up and down the streets and visit all that downtown Fairmont has to offer.”

At the bash, you could find local performances and covers of popular songs as well as vendors and crafts for kids.
