BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — Ahead of its regularly scheduled meeting Monday night, the Bridgeport City Council convened a special session Monday to address multiple ongoing concerns within the city.

Ongoing City Manager issues
During the special session, one of the issues discussed was the potential legal implications regarding a demand made by former city manager Patrick Ford in his ongoing case against the City of Bridgeport. The council discussed these implications in executive session alongside City Attorney John C. Ashton Jr.
