MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Manitou Springs officials said they responded to a water disruption on Saturday.
In a press release, they said city crews were responding to Michigan Avenue and Iron Road, with the Water and Sewer Division assessing the situation and trying to determine the extent of the damage.
They did not immediately say what was damaged, but did say it would take 2-3 hours to repair.
Officials warned people who live nearby that they might see intermittent water service disruptions as work continues. They also said residents might see water discoloration once service is restored.
If that happens, they said you should run cold water from the bathtub or lowest faucet in your home for five minutes, or until the water is clear.
