Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard on Saturday announced that five new deputies had been hired and should soon be in service Havard.

Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard on Saturday announced that he has hired five new officers to work in various capacities. Havard said the new deputies were hired as part of his campaign promises to bring more presence of officers throughout the county to meet the needs of the people.
