The Nebraska football team landed a few punches, but Michigan had the stronger counter.

On an afternoon where boxing champion and Omaha native Terence Crawford led Nebraska onto the field during its Tunnel Walk, it was Michigan that won the Big Ten bout.

The Wolverines battled throughout and ultimately denied the Huskers’ bid to secure their first ranked win since 2016 as No. 21 Michigan defeated Nebraska 30-27 on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

Though Nebraska (3-1, 0-1 Big Ten) had several moments during the game that showcased its potential, it will look back on the way it started the first and third quarters with regret.
