Two drivers were arrested Friday and accused of impaired driving that led to two separate crashes, Santa Fe police said.

The first, a 16-year old female, faces charges including driving while intoxicated, minor in possession of alcohol, careless driving and no driver’s license after police say she struck another the car of another 16-year old driver while making a U-turn on Airport Road near Fairly Road, police said.

Both drivers reported minor injuries when police responded to the crash at around 5:03 p.m., leading to paramedics being called and field sobriety tests being administered, according to police.
