Michael Owen believes Ryan Gravenberch should be regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world and says Liverpool have developed him into a £100 million player.
Gravenberch was signed in a £34.3m deal from Bayern Munich two years ago but struggled to make an impact in Jurgen Klopp’s final season at Anfield.
The Netherlands international progressed rapidly under Arne Slot last term and played a key role in Liverpool’s Premier League title success.
The 23-year-old has made another strong start to the season and scored a brilliant opening goal for Liverpool in their 2-1 win at home to Everton at Anfield on Saturday.
‘He is seriously talented, he could do anything,’ Owen told Premier League Productions.
