Nevada got a solid defensive effort, but the offense floundered and the Wolf Pack 's defense wore down late in the game, leading to another loss.

The Wolf Pack struggled to score as Western Kentucky took a 31-16 win over Nevada in college football on Saturday in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Nevada dropped to 1-3 while Western Kentucky improved to 3-1.

Wolf Pack coach Jeff Choate stressed staying positive after the game.

"You've got to have faith. You have to believe there's going to come a point in time when the Wolf Pack doesn't beat the Wolf Pack and we find a way to win," Choate said. "Positive people don't dwell on negative things."

He added that the Hilltoppers ' physical brand of football wore down the Pack's line.
