Trell Harris hauled in three touchdown passes in the first quarter to help Virginia jump out to an early lead and roll past visiting Stanford, 48-20, on Saturday night at Scott Stadium.

Quarterback Chandler Morris had his best outing yet in a Virginia uniform, throwing for 380 yards and four touchdowns while adding another score on the ground. The Cavaliers moved the ball with ease, following up last week’s 700-yard performance against William & Mary by torching Stanford for 590 yards.

Running back J'Mari Taylor contributed 85 rushing yards on 15 carries as Virginia averaged 5.7 yards per carry. The offense was in rhythm from the opening kickoff, and Stanford’s defense had no answers.
