Jay Norvell has made a change at quarterback.

Jackson Brousseau has replaced starter Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi during a Sept. 20 game against UTSA.

He entered the game with 11:46 to go in the fourth quarter as the Rams trailed 10-3.

Fowler-Nicolosi is a third-year starter for Colorado State but has struggled so far this season.

Brousseau is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound redshirt sophomore from Lehi, Utah. He's appeared in two career games in CSU, coming in late in a blowout loss at Texas in 2024 and in a blowout win against Utah Tech in 2023.

Brousseau was a three-star recruit in high school where he also played basketball and baseball. He threw for more than 3,000 yards in each of his junior and senior seasons and won three total state championships between his multiple sports.
