A man is dead, two others wounded, and a suspect is in custody following a shooting at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua on Saturday night, authorities said.

The suspect, identified early Sunday morning as Hunter Nadeau, 23, was detained at the scene by Nashua police, according to a news release from the state Attorney General's Office, which said there was no remaining threat to the public. Initial reports of multiple armed suspects at large were erroneous, the release said.

"In that incident, Hunter Nadeau (age 23) shot and killed Robert Steven DeCesare (age 59) with a handgun. There is no known connection between Hunter Nadeau and Mr. DeCesare.
