Lloyds has rolled out a new mobile app feature and declared it a UK banking first.
The bank now allows customers to deposit cash at more than 30,000 'convenient' locations, using a barcode.
Barcodes can be generated by customers in the 'Everyday' section of the bank's app.

It can then be scanned at a PayPoint site, of which 94 per cent open seven days a week.
Customers are able to deposit up to £300 per day in notes and coins, however there is a monthly limit of £600.
Once generated, a barcode will remain valid for two hours.
Customers can find their nearest PayPoint outlet using the Lloyds app, and will still be able to use branches of Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland for cas
