ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - BackStoppers hosted a fundraiser Saturday in Jefferson County.

There was plenty do between the barbecue, live music and the K-9 demonstrations from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.

All of the proceeds went to BackStoppers, which helps fallen and injured first responders and their families.

Organizers tell us they raised around $119,000 for the organization last year and hope that, with the turnout they saw this year, they can beat that total.
