ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A deadly shooting in a Schnuck’s in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood has left regulars at the store reeling.

Monday, St. Louis Metropolitan Police released photos of a person they believed to be involved in the incident.

The shooting has raised concerns about what the future looks like for the store in the neighborhood.

“We have a lot of older people who really do need this store in this community,” said Marlowe Price, a security guard at the store.

“This is a great asset to the community,” said Daniel Williams, a board member of the non-profit Breaking Generational Poverty.

The organization aims to curb gun violence in the area.

“I can’t believe something around here can happen like that,” he said of the incident.
