The SUNY New Paltz Department of Music has announced its fall lineup, offering 13 performances that span jazz, classical, pop, choral works, world music, and original student compositions. Highlights include the Faculty Jazz Ensemble, Persian tombak and piano duos, choral concerts like Sweet Rivers and Mozart’s Requiem , the New Paltz Orchestra and Symphonic Band, multiple chamber music and jazz showcases, a student voice recital, and a concert of Indonesian gamelan-inspired music.
