MARTINSBURG - Martinsburg evened its record at 2-2 on Friday with a blowout, 71-7 victory over Hedgesville in an Eastern Panhandle Athletic Conference contest.

It was the second straight game the Bulldogs reached the 70-point mark and had the game wrapped up by halftime, this time building a 50-7 lead at the break.

Martinsburg got on the scoreboard first less than two minutes into the game, at the 10:24 mark, on a 3-yard run by Kevin Myers. A successful two-point conversion on a run by Brian Dick made the lead 8-0. About two minutes later, Terrell Cofield returned a fumble for a touchdown, helping push the lead to 15-0.

The Eagles (0-4) got their only touchdown of the game with 2:54 remaining in the first quarter as Chaz Milburn found the end zone from a yard out to make it 15-7. The Bu
