Greensboro police are searching for suspects in two shootings that sent victims to the hospital early Sunday.

Officers first responded to a call related to an aggravated assault in the 4200 block of Bernau Avenue. They found a victim “experiencing trauma consistent with a gunshot wound," according to the Greensboro Police Department.

Two hours later, officers responded to a similar aggravated assault call in the 900 block of Avalon Road, in which a victim was found with an apparent gunshot wound.

The sites of the two shootings are roughly 9 miles apart.

The victims of the two shootings were taken to the hospital. Police have not released any information on suspects.
