BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Warm afternoons with a few storms will remain the trend in the days ahead, but more widespread rain is expected as the next cold front arrives by midweek.

A quiet and dry morning will give way to another warm afternoon with highs in the low 90s. A few showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop during the afternoon and evening hours.
