Good morning, Bears fans. At least things looked promising for about 40 minutes in Week 1.

Then the end of Week 1 happened, and then game two against the Detroit Lions happened, and the Chicago Bears’ now-familiar Cycle of Everything Sucks is spinning again.

This week, the Bears take on a Dallas Cowboys squad that needed a 64-yard field goal to push their contest against the New York Giants into overtime and another field goal late in the extra period to take the win.
