BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — UPDATE: Police have located a parent of the young child.

The Bowling Green Police Division is asking for the community's help in locating the parent(s) or guardian of a young child.

The young girl has brown curly hair and is wearing a pink and blue Little Mermaid dress. Police asked for assistance identifying the girl or her guardians on Sunday morning.

The circumstances surrounding how the little girl came into police supervision are currently unknown.
