The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will hold a public involvement event next Tuesday to present updates on proposed changes coming to traffic patterns along the Beach Express (State Route 161). These projects are tied to the upcoming opening of the new Intracoastal Waterway Bridge, which will directly impact traffic flow in and out of Gulf Shores.
