Philadelphia Eagles head of security and senior advisor Dominic DiSandro, A.K.A. “Big Dom,” has been fined a shocking amount for violating NFL rules during a preseason game against the New York Jets last month.

DiSandro, who has also earned a reputation as the team’s gameday enforcer and is said to keep head coach Nick Sirianni level-headed, has been set back a whopping $75,000 for allegedly texting from the team’s bench.

The league prohibits texting from the bench area and contravenes its sideline conduct policy. NFL reporter Derrick Gunn said the Eagles appealed the fine but saw it upheld.

Big Dom’s role with the team was exposed in a viral sideline altercation with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw in 2023, which resulted in both of them being ejected.
