For a second straight week, Michigan rose in the college football rankings.
The Wolverines jumped two spots, to No. 19, in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll following their 30-27 victory over Nebraska.
The win not only improved Michigan to 3-1, but it meant back-to-back wins for the first time this season. U-M rushed for 286 yards and three touchdowns, establishing a dominant presence up front for the second week in a row.
The Ann Arbor News/ MLive’s Aaron McMann, one of 60 media members with a vote in the AP poll, had Michigan 18th this week.
