KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are asking the public for help in searching for a dog that bit a person near Overland Park Elementary School on Saturday evening.
According to the Overland Park Police Department, at about 5:30 p.m., officers were called to the area of Santa Fe Drive and Lowell Avenue on reports of a dog bite incident.
Police describe the dog as being medium to large in size, with black and white short hair and a short nose.
The dog is reported to belong to a family consisting of a white man wearing glasses and shorts, a white woman pushing a stroller, and an elementary-aged child.
