Starting at 10 a.m., people gathered for food trucks, craft vendors and live music.

The celebration also featured a Touch-a-Truck experience, where children and families could explore vehicles from local police and fire departments. The interactive display gave residents a chance to meet first responders and learn about public safety equipment.

The inaugural event marked the beginning of what organizers hope will become an annual tradition for the north Jefferson County community.
