SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- Thousands of people in Spokane Valley are without power on Sunday afternoon, according to Avista.

As of 1 p.m. on September 21, over 3,500 Avista customers are experiencing a power outage in Spokane Valley.

The cause of the multiple outages is under investigation. Avista said crews are working to restore power. Power is expected to return to customers between 2 - 3:15 p.m.
