PHILADELPHIA — Two plays into the second half, it looked like this rematch between the Eagles and Los Angeles Rams was going to be a gross mismatch.

After a miserable first half, quarterback Jalen Hurts was sacked and fumbled on the first play of the second half. The Rams recovered at the 10-yard line and scored on the next play to go up 26-7.

For the fifth time, at least by my count, the crowd at Lincoln Financial Field booed the home team.

What happened next had to be seen to be believed.

The Eagles rallied to take a 27-26 lead with 1:48 remaining, but it looked like they left too much time for quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ offense.
