PHILADELPHIA – Despite a strong first half, the second half did not go the Rams way as they fell to the Eagles 33-26 on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

Trailing 27-26 with 1:48 to go in the fourth quarter after Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts threw a go-ahead, 4-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Devonta Smith, Los Angeles (2-1) kept its poise on the ensuing drive to set up a potential game-winning, 44-yard field goal attempt by kicker Joshua Karty . Instead, Karty's kicked was blocked for a second time, and in his instance returned for a touchdown to seal the result.

Both of the blocked kicks by the Eagles (3-0) came in the fourth quarter. Up until that point, Karty had made his first four field goals from 51, 28, 33 and 46 yards, as well as both of his extra point attempts.
