FOXBOROUGH, Ma. (Black & Gold Nation) -- The Steelers defense struggled in weeks one and two allowing a combined 63 points, but it came ready to play against the Patriots forcing five turnovers in a 21-14 win.

The first turnover came on the opening drive for the Patriots when Cole Holcomb forced a fumble from Rhamondre Stevenson and Darius Slay recovered the ball at the 49 yard line. With the short field Aaron Rodgers led the Steelers down to the goal line where Kenneth Gainwell finished it off with a one yard rushing touchdown.

They game remained 7-0 until early in the second quarter when Rodgers connected with D.K. Metcalf on a jump ball in the endzone for Rodgers 509th career touchdown pass, placing him fourth on the all time list. That score put the Steelers up 14-0.
