DICKINSON — The North Dakota National Guard will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, to celebrate the opening of its new Readiness Center in Dickinson.
The 40,188-square-foot facility, located at 3402 Energy Drive, will be the new home of the 816th Military Police Company.
Gov. Kelly Armstrong, U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Mitchell Johnson and Dickinson Mayor Scott Decker are scheduled to participate in the ceremony.
Following the event, an open house will allow attendees and the public to meet soldiers, tour the new armory and learn about the mission of the National Guard, according to the Guard’s social media announcement.
