Commanders coach Dan Quinn suffered a bloodied face after being accidentally knocked to the ground Sunday.

Washington quarterback Marcus Mariota was running toward the sideline during a Week 3 matchup against Las Vegas when he was pushed from behind and, unable to stop quickly, collided with his head coach, Quinn, who couldn't move out of the way.

Mariota’s shoulder pad hit Quinn squarely in the face and he was knocked backward onto the ground. The quarterback was seen checking on his coach and later patted blood from Quinn’s face with a towel.

Quinn, with a cut over the bridge of his nose, stayed on the sideline and said he was "OK" during a halftime interview with FOX.

"Gonna be this kind of day, where it's a physical game," Quinn said.
