The man who was fatally shot at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua Saturday night was apparently trying to shield his family from a gunman who had opened fire seconds earlier on others at the venue, authorities said.
And police are still trying to uncover the alleged shooter's motive.
Hunter Nadeau, 23, of Nashua, a former employee of the country club, was arrested at the scene, and charged him with one count of second-degree murder in the death of Robert Steven DeCesare, 59, a Nashua resident. Additional charges are likely forthcoming on behalf of other two shooting victims, the state Attorney General’s Office said.
