ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Three people are displaced after a house fire Sunday, September 21, according to Roanoke Fire-EMS.
Roanoke Fire-EMS responded at 2:20 p.m. to reports of a structure fire on the 3800 block of Virginia Ave NW, where flames and smoke were coming from the building.
Additional crews arrived on scene and began searching the residence and extinguishing the flames, according to firefighters. Firefighters say the fire was marked under control at 2:37 p.m.
The three displaced individuals are receiving assistance from the Red Cross, according to firefighters.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Roanoke Police assisted with the call.
