COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Midlands community came together on Sunday to celebrate the life of Angela Fuller at Second Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia.

It was an afternoon of remembrance for Fuller.

Fuller’s body was found on September 11 in a wooded area off Shakespeare Road in Richland County after being first reported missing on August 31.

Earlier this week, Anthony Reese, who has been reported to be Fuller’s boyfriends, was arrested and charged with murder related to her death.

Her cousin spoke about why they were there to celebrate Angela.

“Today we remember her laughter, her kindness, [and] her courage,” said Fuller’s cousin Toshia Walker. “We remember how deeply she loved and how hard she tried to live a life full of peace, even in the face of unimaginable pain.”
